ACTORS CV
Potential actors will need a specialist performer's CV for auditions and casting agencies. An actor's CV is very different from a standard CV.
• A performers CV should be only one side of A4 with no personal profile.
• Include your name and contact details (including email address and phone numbers)
• Your height, color of hair, eye colour, build and accents you can speak in, are important.
• There is no mention of GCSEs or A levels. Your education is largely irrelevant, but you should mention the professional training you have received and include details of any useable skills e.g. singing, horse riding, basic dance etc.
• It requires a photograph, which would need to be much better than a passport photo! Careful attention to lighting etc. It's best to have this professionally produced. 10”X8” black and white photo (head shot) for acting and this should be shrunk and included on your CV.
• The main part is all the productions you have been in, usually divided into film, TV and theatre. This should be in chronological order (starting with the most recent).
