Visiting Director
"More than in any other performing arts the lack of respect for acting seems to spring from the fact that every layman considers himself a valid critic." - Uta Hagen

I started my acting training in 1989 at Brooklands College in Weybridge Surrey, obtaining a BTEC in Performing Arts, under the guidance of Johnathan Holloway who has since been the artistic director of RedShift Theatre Company.  The set up at Brooklands was very similar to what we find at The Miskin Theatre.

Having then been accepted to train at The Drama Centre London, a Stanivlaski / Lee Strasberg based actor developement three year degree course, trained by Principal Christopher Fettes, Yat Malgrem and acting tutor Rueven Adiv, I graduated in 1995 and have worked extensively as a professional actor in theatre, television and film for the past thirteen years.

Three years ago I started teaching acting classes at The BodyWorks studios in Cambridge, and Acting for Camera at CityLit, the adult education centre in Holborn London.

From the evaluation of nearly twenty years experience in many areas of Performing Arts as an Artist and Lecturer, working with some highly regarded innovative directors and lecturers along the way, I have grown a passion for direction, and I am very happy and excited to be working at the Miskin Theatre.
